Only Take out for now
They only do chip or swipe I think
No
food is good but a bit pricy, service is bad when Its busy they can’t even figure out which table you were at, and the cashier is super slow with some kind attitude, won’t come back
The backyard BBQ is amazing! I tried beef ribs, tamained chicken and pork, they all good. The servers were very considerate. They came back to help BBQ and refill side dishes few times. It is a little bit pricy, about $50 per person, but it was a good experience.
Wasn't sure what to expect from this Korean restaurant but was pleasantly surprised by the taste of their food. Enjoyed the rice dishes as well as the hearty soups but most of all I enjoyed the appetizer pickles.
The food and soup was undeniably delicious! The taste is beyond incomparable from the other restaurants i've been before.I would definitely go back here and try more of their food from the menu.â¤ï¸
Amazing food, quick and polite service. Very welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant, however it can even be busy late at night so make sure to plan accordingly. Lots of choices for each part of the menu. I highly recommend the Kamjatang dish; large portion for a good price and it will definitely satisfy you for a while. Definitely come eat here.
Was exploring the city and came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try.I am a Chicken lover and hence ordered DakChul Pan and the chicken was perfectly made with the right amount of spiceness. The taste will definitely bring you back.It was a weekend so there were many people but the staff managed it so well. Surely will be visiting again.
The best Gamjatang (Pork bone soup), fast service, affordable price compared to Korean places around, also the atmosphere make me feel like that I’m in Korea.
Ordered food from this on Ubereats a handful of times but today I decided to try it in-restaurant. Food was pretty decent. Glad that it’s not super spicy because I don’t eat spicy at all. :D I ordered the Pork bone soup. 👌 pretty good. Service was okay. Staff was friendly but during the time I went there was only 1 waiter. It would of been better if there were more waiters. Didn’t get everything I asked for (example extra napkins) because of the whole only 1 waiter thing hence why I put 4 stars instead of 5. Prices were decent. Averaging $10-15$ per fish.
Amazingly ideal for late night supper.
Terrible service! Very very rude! Don't come in here! This guy is so mean!
First Asian restaurant that I know of opening 24hrs, what a surprise.Arriving at 1pm, and restaurant is still full (about 30ppl), but tables turning pretty quick and waiters were efficient to clear out tables for new arriving customers. In general: FAST service and Great taste for such Good pricing, $15/pers and it comes with a bunch of appetizers.Had ordered Lunch menu : chicken+rice; porc bone soup; and daily special Kimchi Pancake.Generous dish was designed to filled most of ppl, had to pack leftovers when order 3 dishes for 2.It's definately a family-friendly resto and co-worker's quick lunch gathering. To acquire fastest cashout servicing, they don't split bills per person instead is billing BY TABLE. Accept cash or VISA (while I wasn't able to pay by Master card).Very good restaurant and definately will come back and try their late night service as 24hrs opening hours.
Always like this place! Had seafood soondobu and squid tempura. Both delicious! Staff very friendly. The complimentary side dishes were also delicious!
The food is pretty good but I don't really like the side dishes much. The kimichi is always almost ice cold. I ordered the pork bulgogi which was good.
Spice level is not for the faint of heart. Food tastes great. Only gripe is the service. Got our side dishes after our main meals came. Servers came around to our table infrequently.
My fav PBS in the city. Always available since the spot is 24hrs.
This place open pretty much 24/7, parking is a bit challenging. Food is amazing
Great service, food comes out quickly. Always tastes great and very authentic. Definitely recommend the rice cakes to start! The portions are quite big as well.
I eat in this place often! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot at least once a month. The food is fantastic, the staff is polite and the prices are reasonable. I like meeting in this restaurant over a good dinner.
The place offers an awesome range of delicious food. I enjoyed dining here. Staff members are always welcoming, rates are fair and the spot is always kept clean.
Excellent pork bone soup comes with rice and tasty kimchee, in a very tasty soup with potatoes and vegetables. It looks spicier than it really is. Free parking at the rear small parking lot, with entrance at back door.
The food was bland, didn't have any taste at all. The kimchi was terrible. The owner was angry I used the newspaper. Ehy just trying to learn Korean here. Also, the server explicitly asked for tip. I'm a broke gal that just had enough to treat myself and I already paid enough for the food, then she goes insisting that I GIVE A TIP! Seriously I would have given it without coercion.
Amazing as always. Not sure when they switched to the new takeout containers but I love it. No more spills along the way!
Always a great place to stop by with all the classic dishes. The place can be a bit cramped during busier hours and service might be slow if the staff are overwhelmed but overall not a bad place to go. Sometimes they don’t bring out the banchan while you’re waiting like at other places until your main courses arrive so you don’t have something to nibble on if you’re waiting for awhile but the wait isn’t too long usually.
Quick late night joint with authentic Korean flavours and preparations in their dishes. Plenty of parking in the back as well as on the street side as well
Have been eating here since almost 10 years now. This place has one of the most friendliest staff and great portion to value ratio for food. My go to spot for late night dinner after a long day in downtown.
FoodThe food here has really taken a downward turn. Pork bone soup barely had any soup and it was not spicy at all. Also there were only two small sad pieces of potato. In fact it was mainly salty. Soft tofu stew also had very little soup but at least it was kinda spicy. Mandu (dumplings) were better. I feel like the flavours have been adjusted to suit non Korean palate...ServiceIt was okay, staff not super friendly but more matter of fact. Kept forgetting to bring tea to us and managed to get some after asking three times.AmbienceIt’s fine, nothing to write home about.PriceIt’s the normal prices for Korean food (roughly $11-$15 for mains like pork bone soup and stews.
Food is great but service and professionalism is bad. I have never been asked why I didn't tip before. I would think there would be a reason for that of course But saw how they were and ended up tipping after still.
$13.42 total (11 + tax) kamjatang$25 bosam or jukbal
Ordered from UberEatYummmmm Food is good! Love the taste of kimchi soup!Get free kimchi and cucumber if spending more than $30.
Food was good but we got it as takeout and it came in really inaccessible packaging. It was loud and trying to open it, we broke a nail. It's almost impossible to open quietly and without extra sharp tools. Please reconsider how you package your items. It's pointless selling food if the customer can't even eat it.
Used to be good now it’s just average. Based on how many other good korean food places there are in this area it’s a hard recommend.
Famous for a reason. 4 am fair at its finest, on Yonge, consistent, and always something on the menu for everyone.
Solid place for Korean food. Got the pork bone soup and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and service was fast. I actually really like their Korean malt beer that they serve in bottles. The army stew was kind of a rip, but wanted to try it once. It wasn't bad, just not worth the price when you could make it at home for half the cost.
Tasty food! Good service. Open 24 hrs. Free parking.
It opens 24 hours. Despite coming in after 2 AM, the restaurant was still packed. Great comfort food. My belly was definitely happy with the pork bone soup ðŸ˜
Korean food here is always consistent. The pork bone soup and BBq beef ribs re always my go to. Especially after drinking and getting take out for home.
The food was decent. Though the cashier was a bit rude. It was a bit lacking in terms of speciality though.
Love the food and price is fair as well! You need to wait in line between 6-8, that's when they are the busiest. other than that, love the place!
Cozy, busy, got its own charisma. Great food, super fast service, decent prices. Would recommend!
We were very disappointed at the dishes that we had as they were mixed with lots of vegetables and little pieces of meats. It was a table for two people, and they charged us for gratuity on our bill? For what? To run our food to the table? Horrible experience, and they are definitely desperate for tips!!
Quick service and delicious food. They provide you with mini appetizers at the beginning. The gamjatang falls off the bone and comes very hot. Service is like your typical asian service. Swift and straight to the point. There is a lot of seating and a back patio that seems to only be available for the grill/kbbq style.
Delicious food right here! Close to where I work, service is fast, nice staff and again food is delicious! I love their spicy Bulgogi. Side dishes are treat and combine with Kloud beer, it is a perfect lunch right here.
Great for late night eats and Korean food! Parking is available in the back for customers!
Busy place but I had no problems getting seated and fed fairly quickly each time I went. It isn't fancy but the service is friendly and efficient, even at a late hour. Lots of guests coming in at all times speaks to the competency of these fine people running the place, and it's kind of them to stay open late to serve the hungry late-night crowds. Food is excellent and generous in portions. I would come back here again for sure!
Incredible little spot tucked away on the side of the street, we came in through the back not sure if we were even allowed to, the food was fantastic albeit too spicy for my dad 😂.Apparently they are always open too which is unbelievable, highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great bit of grub ðŸ™
Everything was fine, except for the outrageous waiting time. It took nearly 2 hours for the food to arrive. Would recommend coming a couples hours before eating time.
Very famous which explains the busyness of this restaurant. Offers many authentic korean cuisine for an affordable price! Servers are great and can be easily called by just a hit of a button. Very great!
Hands down the BEST Korean pork soup! The Owl of Minerva has a lot of location in Toronto, and it's my to-go place for affordable traditional Korean food in large portions with best flavours 24 hrs!their Pork Bone Soup is immersed with the deep flavours of broth, and has 4-5 LARGE pieces of pork bone with softly cooked meat that easily falls off the bone. The soup is super filling and warms you up instantly. Served along with traditional Korean side dishes and a bowl of rice that pairs perfectly with the soup! Also got their Korean traditional egg roll to enjoy with the soup, it was pretty good just on its own without any sauce. The egg was soft had a variety mix of chopped veggies, tuna, and ham in it. Pork Bone Soup - $10.99Dumpling Rice Cake Soup - $12.99Korean Fried Egg Roll - $11.99
One of my go to spots for Porkbone soup, usually always busy but the food is worth the wait.
A must try and highly recommended Korean restaurant 😉🔥â¤ï¸
